The Sodiaal cooperative chooses to advertise its brands because they make it possible to promote the milk produced by our members and because they are directly linked to you, the consumers, who now wish to buy in line with your convictions. Guy and Damien Barus run a farm with 80 dairy cows in Bearn: the milk produced by their family farm (for 3 generations) is processed at the Candia site in Lons (64).
They agreed to represent their cooperative’s dairy farmers and to talk about transmission and their attachment to the Sodiaal cooperative
Damien has been a Sodiaal dairy farmer for four years. He worked as a counsellor for teenagers for 15 years before studying agriculture and choosing to work with his father on the family farm.
At 38, he loves his job and, through the film ‘marques de respect’, he wishes to promote the daily work of dairy farmers – who sustain our regions and guarantee us 100% French milk – and the strength of our community of dairy farmers who are all members of the Sodiaal cooperative!
As a newly retired dairy farmer, Guy has just passed on the family farm to his son! He is delighted that one of his children has decided to continue to run the farm in Bearn, which has been in the family for three generations, and that he has joined our community of Sodiaal dairy farmers!
By participating in the film ‘marques de respect’, he wishes to promote his cooperative’s solidarity model to the consumer and to inform them of the importance of their purchasing choices in favour of brands that are owned by farmers, such as Candia, Entremont, and Yoplait!
