Our HIGHLIGHTS
The consolidation of our cooperative, the creation of Sodiaal Resumption of exclusive control of Yoplait 1964, six cooperatives decide to launch a national dairy brand together. Sodima was created by people convinced of the need to join forces to meet the new expectations of French consumers. By creating major French brands, such as Yoplait in 1965 and Candia in 1971, they succeeded in improving the image of this everyday product, focusing its innovations on consumer expectations. In the 2000s, Sodiaal brought together new partners: creation of Orlait, partnership with Savencia in CF&R, creation of Nutribio, alliance with General Mills in Yoplait. Still in this dynamic of strengthening the industry and diversifying the dairy sector to anticipate the end of milk quotas, the takeover of Entremont in 2011 and the merger with the cooperative opened up new prospects for Sodiaal: the group now had expertise in the entire dairy sector and a critical size to develop outside of France.
